I\u00a0love\u00a0<\/em>to cook. I didn’t always love to cook, but when I lived by myself after I graduated college and when I moved to North Carolina, I was on a tight budget and quickly learned that if I was going to eat, I was going to need to learn to cook. I mean, I knew how to cook, but it was all pretty basic stuff. And pretty soon, I discovered that I LOVED to cook and I loved to try new foods, experiment with different recipes, and play around with spices. There’s not a meal that I make that doesn’t have some concoction of spices in it.<\/p>\n

I have been on a kick in the last year or so trying out different recipes from different countries. I love making traditional foods from different parts of the world and introducing these flavors to my kids! While they don’t love them all (typical picky eater kids) they surprisingly like A LOT of them!
